Our objectives are:

1. To identify and implement innovative approaches in supporting employment opportunities for disadvantaged individuals, aged sixteen years and over and living in the Perth and Kinross area, who experience significant challenges in making the transition into, and sustaining, purposeful employment activity.

2. To manage and promote all aspects of the volunteer Employment Buddy Scheme, thereby ensuring its long term development and achievement.

3. To promote close partnership working activities with the Giraffe Trading Community Interest Company which is the employability social enterprise established by the Group.

4. To develop effective partnership working with relevant agencies across all sectors where this can promote sustainable employment-related activity.

5. To manage, and promote good practice in, the referrals process from partner agencies.

6. To source sustainable paid employment opportunities, work experience, volunteering and other employability opportunities for disadvantaged adults.

7. To develop constructive relationships with employers in order to support the employment of disadvantaged adults.

8. To offer pre-employment preparation and training to disadvantaged adults.

9. To offer relevant employability training, consultancy and related awareness-raising events to employers and other agencies.
