This month (November) saw the start of CheckIn/Giraffe's latest venture aimed at providing job-seekers with new skills.

The new cookery and baking course is held on Monday afternoons at the C.A.T.H. Day Centre located on Perth's Ladeside, and is staffed by volunteers and buddies who pass on interesting and valuable skills to the youngsters. Subsequent Mondays will be devoted to providing a range of cooking and baking activities designed to make the course both fun and instructive. Instruction is also given on health, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
