Volunteering

If you've got the life and work experience ... we could really use it!

Martin Raeside and George CraigAs a trained volunteer Buddy, you'll be sharing your confidence, skills, life and work experience with local people who need some extra support and encouragement when getting ready for, and starting, a new job.

Volunteer positions are available across Perth and Kinross and we are especially keen to welcome retired people who have 3-6 hours per week to spare.

Without valuable support from volunteers prepared to work alongside  with adults experiencing a diverse range of disabilities, mental ill health and homelessness, CheckIn Works cannot achieve its aims within the community. Operating across Perth & Kinross CheckIn Works sets out to aid those with these problems to develop their full potential through fair and meaningful employment and to achieve paid work experience.

Buddies can help achieve this through support and encouragement and, of course, giving of their valuable time to provide this vital support.
